Our History & Mission

The Inclusion Arcade Story

From a grass-roots community initiative to a registered federal non-profit corporation, Inclusion Arcade was built on a simple belief: gaming, digital literacy, and community connection belong to everyone—without barriers.

Organizational Evolution

Grassroots Inception

Founded on February 21, 2021, originally operating as Warriors and Survivors eSports Gaming Lounge (WSEGL). Launched direct community relief initiatives, including personal care bag deliveries to cancer survivors at Princess Margaret Hospital and Lakeridge Health.

2022 – 2023

Mobile Pop-Up Expansion

Expanded into physical outreach, deploying custom power generators and adaptive mobile gaming stations to regional festivals, Ontario Queer Chamber events, Pride celebrations, and healthcare technology conferences like TSMC Toronto.

2024 – 2025

International Feature & Hardware Access

Featured at major national conventions including the Los Angeles Abilities Expo, Rollettes Experience, MidwestFest, and Edison NJ. Established recycled tech distribution pipelines with partners like the Electronic Recycling Association.

2026+

Dedicated Physical Hubs & Digital Literacy

Initiated physical hub spaces and digital literacy labs—including our signature partnership with the Abilities Centre in Whitby—to provide year-round accessible technology, adaptive hardware tuning, and community events.

Our Core Guiding Pillars

100% Adaptive Access

Utilizing Xbox Adaptive Controllers, custom reWASD remapping, Cephable AI head-tracking, and tailored switches so every gamer plays on a level field.

Nonviolent Curation

Prioritizing cooperative, flow-state, and nonviolent games that foster genuine social connection, mental well-being, and therapeutic regulation.

Transparent Governance

Operating as a CRA registered non-profit corporation funded entirely by grants, corporate partners, and grassroots community donations.
