The Inclusion Arcade (powered by the Warriors and Survivors eSports Gaming Lounge) was founded on a simple idea: support through community. We challenged ourselves to do something different, coming together to change the game, change the conversation, and support those who need it most.

Through evolving partnerships and sponsorships, our team is dedicated to a carbon-neutral footprint alongside community partners like the Electronic Recycling Association. As a grant recipient through Stream For A Cause, our team created 500 personal care bags for Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto and Lakeridge Health in Oshawa. We also deploy an outdoor pop-up event tent to bring our mission, programs, and adaptive technology directly to the public, demonstrating firsthand how gaming, community, and entertainment connect to provide therapeutic support unlike any other.

Moving Forward with Purpose

Making a difference, no matter the scale, is our single path forward. As we pursue our long-term vision for a dedicated Mobile Community Lounge, we continue to pay it forward with personal care and activity bags delivered to leading cancer hospitals across the Greater Toronto Area.

We are also developing Mobile Play Carts for individuals who require a more personal, bed-side experience in hospices, hospitals, and support facilities. These mobile setups are key to helping families stay connected through video calls, casual gaming, and movie nights.

We give gamers the opportunity to play current-generation titles using accessible PC setups in an environment designed to foster healing. Members can also enjoy a full media lounge to kick back on the couch and watch movies with friends and fellow community members.

An Inclusive Space for Everyone

Inclusion Arcade is a welcoming and friendly environment for all gamers affected by cancer, with dedicated support for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, people with disabilities, and neurodivergent communities.

We welcome new partnerships, donations, volunteers, and conversations with medical professionals. We operate 100% on grants, donations, and public/private funding. Every donation supports our ongoing growth and expansion.

What Video Games Really Do at the Inclusion Arcade

At Inclusion Arcade, video games are more than entertainment, they are tools for connection, therapy, safety, and identity.

For the communities we serve cancer survivors, disabled gamers, 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, neurodivergent families, trauma survivors, and individuals facing medical isolation, games do something extraordinary:

• They Give You Back Your Voice: When your body, diagnosis, or past tries to silence you, a controller gives you agency. Customizing an avatar, exploring a new world, or laughing with others helps players reclaim identity and choice.

• They Rebuild Community: Gaming brings people together with belonging, not judgment. Multiplayer co-op titles, party games, and creative sandbox modes rebuild trust, foster friendship, and offer low-pressure social interaction.

• They Support Mental Health: Many of our guests navigate PTSD, chronic pain (CRPS), chronic illness, grief, medical trauma, autism burnout, or bullying. Games help the brain enter safe, predictable flow states, reducing anxiety, aiding emotional regulation, and opening the door to creative self-expression.

Why We Don’t Feature FPS, Fighting Games, or M-Rated Content

We intentionally curate our game library with emotional safety at the forefront. We do not feature first-person shooters, fighting games, blood, gore, or mature-rated content.

• Violence Isn't Healing: For trauma survivors and medically vulnerable individuals, violence can be triggering rather than empowering. We prioritize spaces where joy, not adrenaline, is the goal.

• Cognitive & Sensory Accessibility: Fast-twitch, sensory-heavy games can overwhelm neurodivergent players. We design gentle, intuitive, low-stress experiences for players with ADHD, autism, memory challenges, or sensory integration needs.

• Youth & Family-Focused: Many of our events host young children, medically fragile teens, and family units. We choose games that encourage co-play, storytelling, and shared laughter.

• Conversation Over Competition: The best gaming moments happen during real conversations between people, not K/D ratios. Our games are hand-picked to build bridges, not scoreboards.

What We Reject

We will never tolerate:

• Bullying, bigotry, racism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia, or misogyny.

• Content or conduct that glorifies violence, abuse, or exploitation.

• Pay-to-play access, tiered visibility, or vanity metrics.

• Any policy or practice that dehumanizes, silences, or shames.

• We prioritize nonviolent, emotionally safe, and inclusive games reviewed for accessibility and healing potential.

• We utilize adaptive hardware from partners like Logitech G, Microsoft, RJ Cooper, and Makers Making Change.

• We build physical setups that respect body pain, mobility limits, and neurodivergence.

• We only partner with organizations, schools, non-profits, and corporate allies aligned with these values. We do not partner with groups that exploit marginalized experiences or push inaccessible design.
